I'm a very emotional person. Any music with good lyrics that touches my heart leaves me overfilled with emotions. Listening to any song that I can relate to and feel always has tears rolling down my face.

Eva Cassidy's 'Songbird' made me cry - sung by my sister on my wedding day. She's a top-flite musician and has an astounding voice - incredible clarity.

Yes lot of songs made me to cry. Some songs were very apt for me. I feel the same thing they were used in their songs.

I can relate to you very well. There are times when the lyrics of a song summarize our current life very well. It is then that my hidden feelings emerge out and tears roll down my eyes.

There are times when I enter a imaginative mode and start crying while relating the song to my personal life.

But still I love to listen to emotional songs. They make me feel that I'm not the only person in this world who is facing this phase of life.

Maybe not emotional songs per se, but songs that have a special meaning, or bring a special memory out to me, they do make me cry from time to time. For example, Angel by Within Temptation is one of those songs that got a special meaning to me after a particular experience I had that I considered was very similar to the lyrics of the song

When I was younger, there was this song that really made me cry whenever I would hear it. But it’s not reall a commercial song because it’s a grade school song that we had fun singing in high school. And whenever I would hear it, I would remember my happy days with my high school chums and I would miss them a lot. Home On The Range is an American folk song, I guess, that was taught to us in grade school.

A few songs have made me quite emotional in the past, those being favourites of my grandmother's that I would hear after she'd passed on.

Nope emotional songs never have made me cry. They would make me think more when I listen to them but I haven't actually cried.

Honestly, it depend on the song that I'm listening. When I heared the song, music and understand the lyrics, it makes me cry if, I feel that I'm into the song.
Love song and emotional song made me cry but it depend on my mood also, if I feel sad I much relate to the song and feel emotional.

Yes I am specially if I experienced or relate to the meaning of the song. I remember that there was a time when I refused to listen to music because of terrible heartache. It seems like all the songs that we used to sing, all the places I go reminds of that person. I'm glad its over and I'm back to my playlist again. Meaning to say that I had moved on already.

For me it depends upon the situation. But for those times whenever i felt stressed or hopeless sad songs can really make me cry. It helps me to release stress and sadness thru crying and after that i always felt more relax and okay.

It will make me cry when while listening to the music, I am in a situation that relate much to the lyrics of the song. For example, I am heart broken then comes a song about love then it will make me cry. If the situation is otherwise I just feel sad about it.

We're on the same boat then! I too is a very emotional person and a passionate one as well, my husband would even tease me as a cry-baby for I easily shed tears on songs that touches my heart. Specially if the lyrics tells of a such a sad or tragic story I can't help but get emotional. Glad to know that I a'int the only person who feels this way.

It actually depends on my mood. Emotional songs make me emotional if and only if, at that particular time, I was sad as well. I mean yes, the song can be sad but if at that moment I wasn't sad then it would not actually affect me. But if something bad happened, and the song is something that I can relate to, then without a doubt, I'll start crying my eyes out.

Yes, of course. Emotional songs always makes me cry. Even though I'm in good mood when I hear a sad song I can easy relate to it. I'm not that really emotional person. But when I understand the song. I can feel every words in that song and I felt emotional. I can't help myself not to listen too. Songs are part of my life. I always relate songs in my daily experiences. Lately, I'm listening to 2!3! Dul set of BTS and I feel the song really. It's a korean song. I googled the english translation so I can understand it. The message is very touching. It's a very comforting song. I'm listening to it because I want to say in myself that after all the hardwork, after all the hard times there's always be a better outcome. You will be happy in the end. So it's okay that I feel empty and tired now. After this there's always be a better day.

I've never really cried at songs, sure - one or two have made me feel a bit more emotional that I probably imagined. The first song that actually got me though was last year after Chester Bennington's passing for Linkin Park. Like a lot of people, it hit hard, I've grown up listening to them, heading to their tours and 'feeling' part of the band. Listening to One More Light before his death it was a great song, after it was a kind of "oh...' moment for me. I will admit a few tears snuck out.

There are plenty of songs attached to memories, even happy songs can become dark after certain events happen, so I do have some songs that will make my eyes tear up from listening to them.

I don't think it is something to be shamed, even if there is seemingly no reason to get emotional, some pieces touch us and I think that is pretty cool humans can make sounds that together fusion and seep right into us and wake up different feelings.
