I think classical music is good not only for relaxation but also for meditation. When I was in college, our professor in psychology class was endorsing classical music to us as a way of increasing our awareness to the environment. I admit that I don’t listen to classical music although it’s okay when it is played on the radio where I am tuned in. And maybe I have to agree that it is good for relaxation because I usually hear classical music in the park.

I settle for an idea that classical music is for relaxation. It is so nice listening on it especially if I am having a massage. It is cool. It aids me to sleep. I like its style. The melodies are great. It is somewhat a tricky genre. It is because its sounds are almost like a jazz. Classical music is mostly appreciated by the oldies. Maybe, it was always played during their time unlike today, there are so many kinds of music people can choose.

yup. Just on my thought, classical songs are better than our modern songs now. Classic songs tend to give me a feeling of calmness whenever I listen to these songs. Songs of air supply and carpenters? Wow, It's just really wow. The voice, the melody, the groove, I really love all of their songs. It's very relaxant and comfortable to listen. Sometimes I tend to play their songs while I'm alone and it gives me a hear full of contentment. I don't know if It's just me, but I'm sure to love classical songs. :)

Absolutely yes! You see, classical music is has a way to the soul and heart that makes a person relaxed just by listening to it. A study shows that people exposed to classical music are more productive and a sharper memory.

Yes, I have a playlist of classical songs that I play for relaxation and during study lessons. It helps me relax and to absorb the books I'm studying when I was in University. Until now I still play them the same way. I also use my playlist sometimes before I go to sleep. :)

I think classical music is one of the hardest form of music to get things right. I have found out that there are people who spend years and decades to master it. And it takes even longer to be proficient in it. So it all depends on how people think of things. I have learned from my experience and things are a bit harder in that case.

Classical music not only does it require great knowledge and awareness of music as an aspect but patience, practice and effort to fully understand it.

I don't just believe in it blindly, I have experienced it. There was a time when I was so restless that I was not able to sleep for months, due to which I was suffering from various mental problems.

But, once when I was travelling in a bus where some people were singing classical song in the bus. I was surprised to know that I was automatically put to sleep while listening to the classical music. Then I realised that music is also a part of God's love for us.

Yeah, I definitely agree. Listening to classical music is really good especially when you are studying or reviewing, it will relax your mind the time before your exam will come.

Yes. specially the folk and country songs. These will help you to get relax specially if you will listen to these songs during the afternoon, it's easy to take a nap while listening to this songs. The sounds of the guitar, and lyrics of these songs it's actually looks like a story telling about the past.

My best friend is a big fan of using classical music for relaxin, I never seriously try it since I have my certain kind of music to relax. I believe there's also cience behind the influence of classical music, and if "The Incredibles" are to be believed, it makes babies smarter.

I think classical music makes you want to think about beats, the silence and the tone. Modern music is often considered as trash. As it focuses more on the speed than the beats. So classical music is lot better in the end. As we learn to get the most out of the music. Things surely feel different in comparison as well.
